- MyMoney—Track Expense & Budget 2★
Like others have said, there is no recurring transaction option. What really bugs me, tho, is that if you make a credit card payment from your bank account, the payment is ADDED to your credit card balance (thus increasing it) rather than deducting the payment. If I pay $200 toward a $1000 credit card bill, the balance should decrease to $800, not increase to $1200. In order to correct the balance, it has to be manually changed. - MyMoney—Track Expense & Budget 2★
i love this app but only thing that's missing is cloud backup, sucks if phone suddenly broken and boom you lost your backup. manual backup sucks, not even premium version has it. which is kinda disappointing, would be great if it will have automatic backup - MyMoney—Track Expense & Budget 2★
MyMoney features a unique, eye-catching UI that stands out. It’s great for basic tracking. Pros: Multiple accounts, CSV exporting, and backup/restore options included for free. Cons: Lack of a login/sync feature. Analysis is limited to monthly views, yearly is premium, and there’s no "all-time" overview. The budget tool is weak, credit cards aren't supported, and subcategories and import from csv not available. Good for simple needs, but too restrictive for power users. - MyMoney—Track Expense & Budget 2★
In the app you can set the initial amount of your different bank accounts. But when the app calculates the Remaining balance, it only calculates income and expenses, leaving the initial balance. I think the algorithm should include the initial amount in the balance. Otherwise there's no point in it. - MyMoney—Track Expense & Budget 2★
It would be nice if we can link it to our email as a back up. Rather than having a back up file for which is not applicable in other phone or tablet unit. I wish there's an easy way to back up my record. I like the app. My only concern when I lose or change phone I can't have a back up file. Please have an email linked back up. I realized, is it also possible that there could be reminder for due date payments? To record it immediately after payment. I hope you can add that kind of feature. tnx - MyMoney—Track Expense & Budget 2★
The app is really good and simple but I can only add today's expenses. I can go back to previous dates but when I add something it's recorded today. Is this a bug? - MyMoney—Track Expense & Budget 2★
Easy to use but the'Balance' title is confusing... It just sums up all the income and subtracts all the expenses... it shouldn't be so. If I indicated upon data entry that expense should be deducted from general budget, expenses should be deducted from general budget not from total income on the app... Except it wasn't made for such elaborate use. - MyMoney—Track Expense & Budget 2★
Jan 2026. Testing this app as a replacement for Expense Manager by Money Tower, which is no longer supported. I like that MyMoney is offline, but it seems a bit immature. We shall see... Fast forward... May 3, 2026. Bought PRO, but it's a bust, two less stars. I was hoping for more organized data entry, the ability to enter recurring payments (income and expenses), and maybe a way to read data from cvs or excel files, but NOPE, it just isn't that mature! 😜 The hunt continues... 🎠 - Budgeting App - Spend Tracker 2★
Loved this app, never had an issue with it! This changed with the latest update, my balances seem to be off frequently despite going by the instructions given with the new "pending transactions" tab. It's really disappointing because I finally found an app that really worked in helping me take control of my finances, and now I'm nearly ready to uninstall it 😞 I'm giving it one more pay cycle. - Budgeting App - Spend Tracker 2★
This app wasn't designed for entrepreneurs or new small business owners. The first question is how often do you get paid? There are only 3 options: monthly, fortnightly, and weekly. I started my own business 6 six months ago and I'm paid after each transaction using Square. Unfortunately, I'm not working consistently yet and that is the reason I wanted to try the app. - Budgeting App - Spend Tracker 2★
A real let down is the lack of drip feeding of disposable income. Instead it only shows the entire amount you have available, & that you can spend it all straight away. For a paid app, you should be able to spread your budget evenly & weekly, between pay days - the whole point of budgeting. Also no option to set pay day as the final Friday of the month, which is very common. I'll be going back to my spreadsheet & cancelling if this isn't added. Elapsed & upcoming expenses don't add up either. - Budgeting App - Spend Tracker 2★
Not beginner friendly. Avoid if you're going to fumble around and remake the budget a few times. You can't delete books whilst there are still transactions. You can't delete books with challenges active. I actually suspect they make it hard to delete books so you are more tempted to pay. I can't delete anything so I'm stuck with all these "books" whilst I'm trying to figure out what the heck to do. I don't want to waste my time emailing customer support for something that should be easy. - Budgeting App - Spend Tracker 2★
This app has a really nice interface, and relatively straightforward usability, but unfortunately those things don't cut it, if the basic functionality keeps breaking. On more occasions than not, this app hasn't been able to run due to no Internet, weird app bugs, "The connection errored: Failed Host lookup" whatever that means. I am just wanting to check my budget and I can't! Painful. I am sorry, but why does a budgeting app need an internet connection? - Budgeting App - Spend Tracker 2★
Seemed decent enough but clunky. I thought it'd be straightforward and easy to use but even with the full subscription version it makes everything annoyingly difficult. Can't really have multiple books because you can only ever see one at a time, and it has to be active to show you it's contents. Didn't enjoy my month trying it so uninstalled. $16 is worth a shot I guess. - Budgeting App - Spend Tracker 2★
fun looking app. but u locked the carry over at premium. and your premium is so expensive for one time fees. it also mean this money app has become useless without the premium. there is lot of other option out there which is much cheaper and better sorry says. - Budgeting App - Spend Tracker 2★
I enjoy the intuitive design and overall ease of use; however, the free tier doesn’t meet my requirements. The singular book is especially limiting, and I’m looking to save money, not increase my expenses. Uninstalled. - Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets 2★
The subscription tracking is not accurate. If you are like me, you downloaded this because of the millions of ads that say it will help you locate and cancel your subscriptions. it showed me 5 subscriptions. I am aware of at least 4 that it didn't show me. So not useful in finding all my subscriptions at all. I did not attempt to use the app to cancel anything. - Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets 2★
It's not quite as easy as it shows on the commercials. The part at the beginning where you choose how much you think is fair to pay for it to get your free 7 day trail gives you the option to do $0 then immediately forces you to pay $7 minimum. That's a psychological tactic used in finance and other industries to get as much extra money from good hearted people as possible. I'm tech savvy and still it did nothing for me after I linked up. I canceled, unlinked, deleted my account, uninstall. - Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets 2★
I've used Rocket Money for years. I'm tired of constantly fighting the app. It automatically adjusts the due dates on reoccurring bills instead of the dates I set it as. My rent is due on the first of every month, not the fourth. I have a bill that comes out of my account every Saturday, not the following Monday. I set the date the bill is supposed to come out on and I expect it to stay on the date not changed to a date that would incur late fees. - Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets 2★
it was ok until I tried to use the app. all of sudden they want to 2 factor authenticate me. Never has that happen before and they have the wrong phone number. they have my old number that I never given them. Very fishy smelling to me. And, when I tried to get on the website they blocked me and said I had to use the app ! I just paid for an upgrade too. I don't think I'm going to continue there are too many similar companies that won't give me these problems just to do business with them. - Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets 2★
It's a good budgeting app, but I really wanted to cancel my myriad of subscriptions that are scattered. this app completely misses the mark with that. out of my at least 10 reoccurring subscriptions, it found only 1 of them, which was Amazon Prime. its the only one I planned to keep ironically. wish I never got involved since I was really hoping for something, decided to trust the app, just for a complete and utter disappointment. - Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets 2★
I was already pretty aware of my finances, but I decided to give Rocket Money a try. I didn't realize, or remember until I got charged a subscription fee, that I'd have to pay for this. I didn't like how the link to my financial institution had to be fixed almost every time I logged in. And I hoped for an easier to see/follow budget tracker. Perhaps this works well for others, but it didn't for me. When I cancelled my account the AI bot easily helped me get a refund for the subscription. - Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets 2★
if you don't pay for the full subscription service it will stop tracking reoccurring bills. My Crunchyroll sub is through Google and Rocket Money thinks it is inactive and can't find it. Similarly rent, and other bills have to get marked manually as paid. This app also assumes all bills will be the same amount as the last, like utilities as power and gas. I don't know if there are better apps but this one just wants your money to function - Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets 2★
The look and feel is nice, very intuitive. Lots of nice features like subscription tracking and useful advice. However, accounts aren't updated regularly and you have to request they be updated individually. It's not automatic or immediate. So you end working with older data. To me, that negates the whole experience. I'm not talking about a transaction or two. It regularly out of date for days and weeks. Definitely not worth the fee they charge. - EveryDollar: Budget Management 2★
At first the app was an interesting alternative to the spreadsheet method I've been using. But once I realized it pretty much requires foreknowledge of monthly earnings, which, in my case are unpredictable, It became harder to calculate expenses. Also, there's no way to regroup expenses by due dates, which I can in Excel. even holding my finger on an item until it can be moved to re-order them only lasts until I open something to add activity, as soon as I return, the list resets itself. - EveryDollar: Budget Management 2★
A recent update seems to have greatly diminished the experience. Changing the name of a budget item now insists on changing it for all past budgets for "Insights" that I can't even access. This is a big problem for sinking funds. I can't change "Insurance 1/6" to "Insurance 2/6" anymore without fudging my past records, and it's not realistic to make a new item for all of these every time. Every app seems to eventually have an update that causes you to turn off auto updates. This is it. - EveryDollar: Budget Management 2★
Product is glitchy and many times the hyperlinks to wherever you're going do not work. Currently trying to cancel the subscription and...WOW. I followed every direction I have uninstalled and reinstalled and every time I hit the edit button on the subscription (Yes I'm going into accounts) The link to "edit your subscription" does not work. - EveryDollar: Budget Management 2★
This is overall an ok app for tracking spending. But I just now got a pop up saying I'd have to re-log in and now I'm just stuck on the loading screen. I cleared all cache and data and still have the same problem. My wife (iOS) and I (Android) are both experiencing the same thing. This app used to be better but now has lots of syncing issues along with weird breaking issues like this one. Sad to say there don't seem to be many free alternatives out there. Also stop asking me to go Premium! - EveryDollar: Budget Management 2★
Like their concept and have a paid for subscription, but till their bank syncing works all of my accounts (I use one major and one less known institution) I can't rate them much higher. Will probably cancel my plus membership in the next week if one of the banks is not fixed. Their customer service is also very slow. Usually takes a few days to get your first reply. The app itself is very simple to use but at this stage they are not there technically. - EveryDollar: Budget Management 2★
Great app before the update. Now that it gives a non-specific amount for planned, spent, and remaining I am left to do the math to track every penny. Which defeats the whole purpose of the app for me. If I can see the decimal amount for those 3 categories (which I know it tracks) I would be able to overlook the cosmetic details I don't like because at the end of the day I want it for functionality and this update is not providing that.
