the thought is there but the follow through is not. price keeps going up. I report issues and they repeat them back to me. today it says I have no more documents left yet I paid for the year. so in the middle of our busiest season I'm left with no I voice app, for the second year in a row because last spring they started showing as read Instantly and no one was receiving them (still not completely fixed). there's no update available so what now? what did I pay for?! - Invoice Simple: Invoice Maker 2★
This app is getting worse not better. Not only is it not fully customizable, it's no longer saving estimates and invoices that I sometimes spend an hour writing! Last week a paid invoice disappeared completely before I could send it to the customer. BTW, that was a three page description of the work we performed, yeah I had to rewrite the whole damn thing. Had the app for about a year now kind of wish there was an option to pay annually instead of monthly. Other than that app is simple and easy to use. I've used this app for about 1.5 years, and yes it work ok, it's makes sending invoices simple, but that's about it. I run a plumbing business, i have clients with over 100 invoices in a single year, but there's no way for me to type in an address and pull up all those invoices. Or pull up a clients name, have there all their invoices come up, and be able to click on it. The if invoice Simple had the ability to look invoices up with an address that would be. However, my satisfaction has diminished to two stars due to the frequent price increases every two months and the loss of features unless I upgrade. The app is (or at least it was) great at creating estimates and invoices. The update to allow the option to get paid by credit card is not an option. YOU WILL BE GIVING YOUR CUSTOMERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO PAY BY CREDIT CARD!! Even if you turn the option off, the email that is sent has the pay by credit card button. I used to like this app and use it for my business until updates changed everything. It shifted from a simple, user-friendly app to an app that wastes your time on entering payments for each invoice. You should take multiple steps to enter a payment. It used to be a single MARK PAID feature, and we could change the date or notes of the payment. Now, if you mark it as PAID, you can't modify the payment unless you enter everything manually, including the invoice or payment total, date, etc... - Invoice Simple: Invoice Maker 2★
Good app, but it's annoying when you click the 'mark paid' button and it brings you to a screen that promotes for adding PayPal and payment systems to your app. I don't want to be bombarded everytime I am making a client a receipt. It should be an add on option in the settings, not a pop up every time I click 'mark paid'. Works OK sometimes but lately it won't send the invoices and it keeps making me miss pays by weeks. It's frustrating and is costing me money because bills are getting over due *update* I send it to my wife aswell and now it works, but if I don't it won't send. Great invoice maker, completely free, would love the option to send to multiple emails/assign multiple emails to clients Edit, they introduced a disgustingly greedy subscription plan and you can't even edit old invoices without paying, avoid like the plauge, there are many better option out there, or just make your own invoices - Freebie Invoice Maker Simple 2★
It seemed simple and worked well until I got to billing. The program only allows you to put in if you're selling items, not services. Also it will not allow you to edit problems that were filled in in the wrong lines and so forth. No doubt it's the best invoice app, the only issue I'm facing that when I share the invoice it only shows rows and columns but doesn't show any amount ot figures there. This was so good but just got a new phone and have now lost everything as there doesn't seem to be a way to sync data over. It just tries to get me to download Billdu instead which is a subscription service. Bit if a rip off directing me to a paid app to try keep my data. I was really liking this app, it even has a late payment reminder you can send, but the last two days it stopped sending a duplicate invoice to my email, now I have no idea if invoices are being sent or not, in fact one customer said they never received their invoice & Zoho sends me the duplicate invoice a day later, this happened for TWO invoices & is not cool at all. Georgia Pro Installers LLC has been using this app for a couple years now . Only thing is you can't delete clients that you no longer deal with work with and replace with new clients and information. This app does not work on all devices, as stated. I have tried several times to add this to my laptop, because the invoices refuse to send, too often, from my phone. This type of activity creates business appearance failures, in the eyes of the customer. It makes us look incompetent as a unit and as a business, as a whole. Where is it free?? Beware it is three invoices in total. I started using this app, because it stated it was free for 3 invoices per month. It's 31st March 2026 and I have just tried to generate an invoice to get a message asking me to pay. I had one invoice in January and two in February.
